Georgetown University’s School of Continuing Studies, SCS, hosted an open house at its Washington DC campus today to introduce prospective students to its Master of Professional Studies in Supply Chain Management program. The MPS in Supply Chain Management is the first graduate level Supply Chain Management program in DC. The CEP Group attended today’s open house and spoke at length with faculty director Linda Dunn.
“The curriculum focuses on practical applications, case studies, and real-world situations so you can put what you’ve learned to work and make significant contributions to your organization immediately—not just once you graduate.“
— Linda Dunn, MBA, Faculty Director; Master of Professional Studies in Supply Chain Management
Washington DC and environs previously overlooked as a hotbed of logistics is now becoming an epicenter of transportation. With major critical demand sectors including Defense – DOD, Boeing, Lockheed, BAE, General Dynamics and others, civilian federal agencies – US Postal Service (multibillion dollar transportation contracts), as well as the other federal agencies, and Amazon’s recent HQ2 takeover of Northern Virginia, and its new (so far below the radar) build out of a massive logistics hub at BWI, Georgetown SCS MPS Supply Chain Management graduates will be well positioned for future career success.
